In FIL-RetroPGF-2, anybody can submit an application.

An important lesson from the Optimism rounds has been to avoid overwhelming badgeholders. To respect the time and effort of badgeholders, the applications will be reviewed by the round organiser’s before being sent to badgeholders to remove any obvious spam or applications outside of the following eligibility:

FIL-RetroPGF-2 applicants should meet three criteria:

• Aligned with the Filecoin mission — to store humanity’s information in a robust, decentralized, and efficient manner.
• Fit the category of public goods and have impact on the ecosystem during the impact window.
• Are nominated based on retroactive impact rather than seeking proactive funding.
