The first phase has two steps:
Step 1: In a Github comment as part of the FIL-RetroPGF Round 2 Filecoin Community GitHub thread, found here, briefly describe your project (Name + Project Category + 50 word description + Website URL).

Project Name: IPFS
Project Category: Infra + Deps
Description: IPFS is a decentralized, peer-to-peer file system that enhances resilience, efficiency, and censorship resistance. It delivers content faster by fetching from nearby nodes, ensures data integrity with cryptographic hashes, and enables permanent, tamper-proof storage without reliance on centralized servers. Step 2: Share your comment on Twitter or other social media, tagging the Filecoin and FIL-RetroPGF account to engage the community and maximize visibility.
Note: Sharing your project on social media is a great way to spread the word about building in the Filecoin ecosystem. Badgeholders will be advised that increasing visibility this way is valuable, and therefore be advised to take it into account as a factor when scoring projects and therefore allocating funds to them.
